    Friulano

Variety: Friulano is another variety native to our Region. This variety was called Tocai until 2007 but the name was officially changed to Friulano to avoid any possible confusion with Hungarian Tokaj. The wines are, of course, very different.

Friulano has a straw yellow colour tending to green. It has an intense fragrance of wild flowers and herbs. In the mouth it is dry, fresh, velvety in texture and has an intense almond flavour with a slightly bitter and spicy finish.
